So Grown up

Making it Homey

Sunday afternoon I announced that we were having family dinner at our house instead of Grammy and Pappy's this week. They decided to make it a little more homey so everyone would feel nice and welcomed.

 Tomas the train with the pillow over the top was the foot stool for Pappy.

 All the friends on the couch were for Rya and Emmy to play with

 All the blankets were so everyone would be comfy when they sat down.

Walmart Country

A conversation between Cassie (my sis-in-law) and my little guy:

Tyler- Why is Uncle Eric's skin brown?
Cassie- Because his parent's skin is brown?
Tyler-Why was his parent's skin brown?
Cassie- Because their parents came from another country where everyone has brown skin
Tyler- I've been to Walmart.

Too Tired to Eat

He fell asleep while eating. We literally had to take the piece of bread from the bottom picture out of Tyler's hand. 

Funny Things They Say

Mom- Maybe you can blow the balloon up easier than Jaren because you have such nice big lips.
Ozzy- Yeah I'm pretty sure every girl is going to want to marry me.

While clapping for Jaren at his school choir concert Ty who is standing in front of me turns around with a pouty face and says:
Ty- Stop clapping at my feelings!

At the end of our Delicate Arch hike in Moab this May Ty looks up at me with red cheeks and an exasperated look
Ty-Mom I am so boring of walking, can you please hold me?

While at a stop light in Salt Lake with the whole family we were stopped at a red light. Out of nowhere we hear from the back seat
Ty- Well, there's a pretty girl.
We look up and sure enough there is a girl with long dark hair and short shorts crossing the street. It was so funny!
