Mike and I have been texting this morning. I really wanted to share this text because I almost fell on the floor laughing. Here is how it went. I will pick up at the important part, the rest of the conversation is off limits. Wink, Wink.
Hubba Hubba: Hey...Watch it! U might just get urself in some serious trouble mister. (Mister is one of Tylers nicnames and he hates it!)
Me: I AM NOT MISTER (this is what Tyler screams every time he gets called "mister")
Hubba Hubba: (quoting all of Tylers favorite sayings) I AM TYLER BUDDY!, Huh mom?, Yeahhhh, Ahhhh, Does it go this way?, I have a big pee pee, Can I have some?, I need it!, SCREEAAMMM, I wasn't talkin to you, YOU DON'T SAY IT!, I don't like that, EEEEWW...Gross!, This is AWEsome!
I am sure Tyler will appreciate this when he is older and he can look back at all the exciting things he used to say to us. He is quite entertaining!

Brigham City Temple
The Brigham City Temple was dedicated on Mike and I's 1 year anniversary. Isn't that exciting. We made it our temple. We are planning on being sealed there when the paperwork comes back and we are cleared for celestial take off. This is our family at the open house. We went with my parents and my brother and his family. I love this temple! The colors are beautiful. The temple looks like a smaller version of the Salt Lake Temple. It really is impressive.
I Want to be on Mike's Team
We wrestle alot in our family. Mike always wins. The boys are starting to catch on. Jaren has had it figured out for a while and always asks to be on Mike's team. Ozzy and Ty are usually with me.The other day Mike saw Ozzy on the couch very intently counting all this play money we had. He spent a good twenty minutes on the couch counting very carefully. Then he came to Mike and this conversation followed:
Ozzy: "Mike, if I pay you money I am on your team ok?"
Mike: "I don't know, how much you got?"
Ozzy: "You can have it all. I have $380."
Mike: "Ok. But you have to tell your mom."
Ozzy comes running and happily tells me that he is going to win because he paid Mike to be on his team.
Batman
Ty Loves to dress up as superheroes. His favorite right now is Spider-man and I think we could probably open up our own store with Spider-man paraphernalia. Here is Ty playing Batman. Mike asked him to flex his muscles.
Prayer Thoughts
I love family prayers. Listening to our boys pray is the highlight of my day. They go through cycles, right now these are some of the familiar words we hear in family prayer
Jaren..."Bless this day, help us to be good and learn about the gospel"
Ozzy..."Bless the planet, help me and Jaren to do good in school"
Ty..."Bless our food and Jaren and Ozzy"

Ozzy..."Bless the planet, help me and Jaren to do good in school"

Our Angel
In June I surprised Mike. I had exciting news...
We were pregnant! Then just a short 12 weeks later we lost our angel and the precious spirit went back to Heavenly Father before we even had a chance to meet her. I say her because I know Heavenly Father wants our family to have a little girl and as you can tell from the bedroom decor I was already planning for such. I took 10 pregnancy tests in all. I couldn't believe it was real.

It was hard to see the ultra sound of our little baby and no heartbeat. We cried, held each other, and we prayed. It was all we could do. I have no doubt Heavenly Father will bless us again with another spirit. I know we have a little girl in heaven waiting to be a part of our family.
Our New House
We moved this year. On Memorial Day to be exact. Mike and I spent months looking for a good deal. We found quite a few houses and put down around 5 offers. We of course we trying to aim low but still be seen as a serious buyer. The hard part is, you have to be willing to walk away because the second you get attached to a house then, you no longer care about the good deal. You just want "your" house.
We found a house in Roy we really liked on 4800 and the bank started counter offering with us. Mike and I both loved the yard, it was enormous and the kitchen was amazing. We had to walk away.
A couple weeks later I found a house I really liked. It just felt right! I wanted it. Dangerous. It was just off the main road (3500 West) but in a great new neighborhood with well manicured lawns. I couldn't believe we found a HUD home in this neighborhood. The inside left much to be desired and the lawn was weeds but the bones of the house were GREAT! We put down what we thought was a decent offer and our Realtor said we had a good chance but that there were other offers. The asking price on the home was $200,000. We offered $192,750. We didn't get it. I was devastated. I knew that was my house and it crushed me.
A couple weeks later Mike was driving by the house and got the same impression that I previously had. This was our house. Two days later our Realtor called and said the offer that got accepted fell through and we were the next offer in line. Did we still want the house? Duh! Where and when can we sign.
And we got to work. We had to do everything from changing door knobs, painting every wall in the entire house, new baseboards, patching and repairing, taking out mold and re-sheet rocking, painting doors, replacing doors, ripping up old flooring, replacing the floors, and replacing the whole gutter system. It was no small task and we are so grateful to all our friends and family that helped us get the work done.
Painting
The pink room transformed
more painting, master bedroom
more painting, family room
and even more painting, kitchen
I left out all the closets, halls, bathrooms, entry, stairs, and other bedrooms that we painted. I am exhausted from painting just typing about it.

This is the view from my kitchen window. Beautiful!
Our new house, 3620 W 5225 S, Roy, UT
Like I said there was a lot of work to do before we could move in. So...We set up base camp.
I think Jaren and Ozzy look ready to help, don't you?
New door knobs
Fixing the rain gutters
I don't think pink is going to work for us, this is a redo
The boys repainted the downstairs bedroom for us, I think this is a redo too.

Here comes the flooring. This is my favorite part of our whole house! I love our floors.
And the finished look
I feel so blessed to be here. I love our ward, the neighborhood, and having so much space! I could live here for the next 20 years easily. Now the next task for spring 2013 will be finishing the basement and getting the sprinkler system and yard in.
Ozzy Heart Mike
I love this picture. It is from earlier this year also. I can't remember exactly what I asked Ozzy but I think it was something along the lines of, "how do you like Mike?" As you can see from his response, he not only likes Mike, he HEARTS him. So cute.
Fun in the Water
This is back from March of this year. Jaren wanted to go to the Clearfield Aquatic Center for his Bday. He loves the water and so do his brothers. Swimming and McDonalds for dinner. Doesn't get much better than that.
Building Forts
Since I live with all boys it has become necessary for me to improve my fort building skills. This is from earlier this year before we moved to the new house. The boys love this activity. A few times they even kicked me out saying there were no girls allowed. Rude! ;o)

Wilson Family Campout
This is another back-log. June 15-17th we went camping with our family, Grandma & Grandpa Wilson and some of the cousins, aunts, and uncles. This is definitely not my favorite activity but after looking back on all the fun pictures it gets me excited to go again next year.
This is our campsite- Franklin Basin
It didn't take long for Ty to get dirty. In fact we even found him eating dirt a couple times.
The cousins favorite hang out was a hammock that Zac brought home from his mission to Chile.
Breakfast of camping champions.I don't think any of us went home hungry.
Hiking down to the river.
You can't camp without playing horseshoes.
The next four pictures are from the creek that we drove to about 5 miles away. Everyone had lots of fun here and it gave Katie and I a chance to wash our hair!
Snack time. The two blond boys are Brian and Suzie's. They came up for a night to hang out with us too.
We took a fun drive/ride up to an old airplane crash site. It took most of the day and we were all worn out and ready for grub and relaxing after. And I have to say that Ozzy takes after his mama. He did not want to get off the four wheelers and the faster we went the more fun he had. Jaren and Ty had fun too but they did not share Ozzy's sense of adventure on the monster trucks (that's what Ty called them).
There was a fire ban so we were not allowed to have a campfire. Boohoo, that is one of the things I truly love about camping. Hopefully next year we can do marshmallows and re live our younger years next to the campfire. All in all I would say this trip was successful. I sure love hanging out with my new family. They are so much fun!

Family Picture

Our cute little family
This is the picture we chose for our Christmas card this year. Becca took these (she did our wedding photos too) at Fort Beunaventura. Looking at this picture I feel an immense amount of gratitude for the huge blessing all 4 of these boys have been in my life. I love being with and around them!
