Murder Mystery

We had so much fun at the Deadwood Saloon last Saturday..AKA...Wilson home. Our house was all decked out.

From what I hear it was something worth gossiping about and everyone was telling us to make sure to do another one next year and make it a Wilson family tradition.

Mike was the Saloon owner and I was his wife/tramp. Apparently Mike was paying the Sheriff to sleep with me! Why I never.... 

There was a good mix of family, friends, and neighbors at the party. It was a lot of work & mula but I think in the end it was a fun way to celebrate the holiday. Why should our little buckaroos have all the fun on Halloween, we deserve to party too right?!

A New Beginning

I really want to start a journal of the Wilson family. When I stayed at home I was pretty good at catching life's moments on paper. Since I have been working full time I have not made time to fit it into my schedule. I realize how much the kids and I are missing out by not having those memories in writing so I am making a new goal to write once a week.

The Wilson Family started just over a year ago, September 23, 2011 to be exact. I can't believe I have been married for a year already. It feels like I have known Mike forever. Mike fell into routine with us so well it feels as though he has been with us for much longer. The boys love him and have so much fun with their new Dad.He has been such a blessing for all of us.

What once was broken has been mended and we are a family that will be united forever on earth and in the Heavens. Bound together by love, devotion, and promise. I have been so richly blessed!

Jaren's Prayer

February 2012

Jaren's prayer was so darling tonight. I didn't want to forget it so I am writing it down.

Jaren: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this wonderful day and help us all learn about the gospel. Please help the kids in my class tomorrow be surprised about my rain-stick that I made, the one that is right here beside me in my hand.

Thank you for the earth that you made for us. Thank you that we are a family and together. Help us all sleep good and that we don't have bad dreams tonight. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Sleeping In

It is Friday night about 10 o'clock. I am explaining to the kids that tomorrow is Saturday and Mom and Dad really want to sleep in so when they wake up in the morning they can play Wii, get something to eat and leave us alone for a bit.

Jaren: Unless there is a fire huh Mom? Then I can come get you.

Mom: Yes, if there is a fire, please come get me

Jaren: Or if we need an ambulance right Mom?

Mom: Yes, please come get me if you are in need of an ambulance.

Ozzy: Or if the Aliens come huh Mom...
